Antir Wikipedia Project

Greetings,

Glymm Mere is full of great and wonderful people, but they can be somewhat modest. Will you please help our webmaster out by contributing to the Antir Wikipedia project?

Glymm Mere is full of friends, pick one and thrust them into the spot light, we all would like to know a little more about them. Please find someone you would like to "share" with the kingdom and create an Antir Wikipedia page for them. I take great pride in being from Glymm Mere and I hope you do to, lets share or Barony with the Kingdom.

Please resist the urge to post an unflattering photo of someone, for example: a certain Baron wearing a plastic viking hat. Keep the content somewhat serious and factual.

It doesn't take long to create a page, and it's suprisingly easy. It would be wonderful if we could have a page for each person on our roster. If we missed listing someone on the wiki populace page, please let Seamus or myself know and we will add them. If you have any questions or problems please contact Seamus.........or me.

Instructions:

1. Create a wiki user account and log in.
2. Go to Glymm Mere wiki populace page (link above)
3. Select a person to create a page about and click on their name.
4. Select the edit tab and paste the template text shown below into the form.
5. Open another Internet explorer broswer window and go to photo link above.
6. Find a photo of the person and save it on your desktop.
7. In the second Internet explorer window then paste this address: http://wiki.antir.sca.org/index.php?title=Special:Upload 
8.Click browse button and find the photo you saved on yoru desktop, then upload to antirwiki.
9. Copy the name of the photo and then paste in the wiki edit page on the 1st Internet browser window.
10. Using the 2nd Internet explorer window, Go to the Antir Roll of arms, Repeat process to download the device image to your desktop, then to the wikipage.
11. Still using the 2nd Internet explorer page copy the blazon text from Antir roll of arms about their device and then paste on the wiki edit page.
12. Go to the order of precedence link and find the person and copy their list of awards, paste in the wiki edit page. Be sure to put an * infront of each award so it will then be in Bullet format.
13. Click "Save Page" button
14. Check to make sure your page and the links worked.

If your photos don't work double check that the name and the extentsion (jpg gif) is correct.

Try to link to other pages if you can, do this by putting double brackets around the name of the [[thing]] or by selecting the thing and clicking the internal link button on the edit page tool bar.

If the links don't work, check the page source then copy and paste it's name into your edit screen.
